Hawks near full strength
North Melbourne is set to meet a near full-strength Hawthorn team at Craigieburn on Saturday.
The Hawks have brought back a host of stars who sat out Round 3 of the NAB Cup.
Lance Franklin, Brad Sewell and former Roo David Hale are just a few of the senior players who will be back in action at Highgate Recreation Reserve, providing a tough task for the Kangaroos' young line-up.
The defensive trio of Nathan Grima, Ayden Kennedy and Cam Delaney will face Hawthorn's first-choice key forwards in Franklin, Roughead, Hale and Jack Gunston, providing a great test in the lead-up to the home and away season.
Senior coach Brad Scott told NMFC.com.au on Thursday he was hoping for a strong Hawthorn team to give North's coaching staff more information on the development of the club's youngsters. It appears that wish will be granted.
