Adams has been rehabilitating both his shoulders after post-season operations but was recently back in hospital for a minor procedure on his eye. Still sensitive to light, the brave midfielder will have to train with sunglasses during the main session on Wednesday at Aegis Park.
The 24-year old averaged just under 20 possessions a game in 2012 and booted 17 goals despite struggling with his problematic shoulders throughout the year. He played 18 games and is easily one of the club's best 22.
Another one of North's most valuable players is Grima and the key defender is also edging closer to a return after back trouble.
Both players will be out to earn a spot in the side which will take on the Cats in Geelong on Saturday.
