When it comes to home-ground advantages, only one team trumps North’s record at Blundstone Arena and that’s the reigning premiers.
Since playing their first game in Hobart in 2012, the Kangaroos have won 14 of their 18 games at the venue, with a remarkable winning percentage of 77.78.
After losing two of their first three games in Hobart, the Roos have made the stadium a fortress, winning 16 of 18 games since Round 6, 2013.
These wins have often come in impressive fashion, with the average winning margin for the Roos being more than 42 points.
Impressively, the percentage for North at Blundstone Arena surpasses other known fortresses in the league, such as Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, and Hawthorn’s own Tasmanian stronghold, UTAS Stadium.
The Kangaroos will be hoping to enhance this strong record in 2019 and beyond, with a fourth game in Hobart a potential key to a finals push.
