North fans will get a chance for some post-match kick-to-kick at several games this season.
The AFL has confirmed the games where the traditional ritual will take place at stadiums around the country, including all three matches at Blundstone Arena in Hobart.
North supporters will get a number of opportunities to take part in what many consider a ‘rite of passage’ for young footy fans.
Following its success in 2015, the ‘Sunday Funday’ initiative also returns this year, giving children under the age of 15, who accompany an adult, free general admission access to matches on Sunday at Etihad Stadium and the MCG.
AFL Clubs and AFL Operations General Manager Travis Auld said the AFL was thrilled to continue kick-to-kick and ‘Sunday Funday’.
“Free entry for children under 15 on Sundays at Etihad Stadium makes attending the football really affordable for families at a really appealing time-slot, and this proved a great success in 2015.”
