Brent Harvey believes Rhyce Shaw is the perfect person to help North Melbourne enjoy on-field success in the coming seasons.
The games-record-holder has taken on an extended development role this year, and couldn't have been more impressed with what he's seen.
"Relationship-wise, he's (Shaw) the best I've seen," Harvey told Nine News Melbourne.
"It's just that camaraderie that really excites me about the football club."
Harvey said he's confident the Roos can build on an exciting start to 2020, when football ultimately returns in the coming months.
"That's why I'm involved. I'm involved to hopefully win a premiership with these boys," he said.
The 41-year-old has been keeping active during the pandemic, inviting families to join in morning workouts.
"It's just to get kids involved with their parents, get them up out of bed early and start the day on a real positive," he said.
The #HuddleUp program is an initiative of The Huddle, North's community arm, and major partner Mazda.
