Web seminar: Youth gambling issues and interventions

Problem gambling is usually regarded as an adult issue, however rates of adolescent gambling problems are between 2-4 times those of adults.

This Webinar will provide participants with the most recent information on youth gambling, ways in which they may help teens with gambling problems, and describe resources and strategies available to help minimise harm associated with gambling.

The speakers will show how adolescents gain access to gambling activities, what issues arise from those activities, the tools available for assessing problem gambling among youth, practical strategies for the prevention and treatment of youth gambling problems. It will include information on who does and does not present for help in Victoria and effective ways of engaging with and reaching young people.
