Jack Ziebell will suit up for his first game of VFL football on Saturday, as he pushes for a Round 1 berth.

The 29-year-old played just half a game against the Swans on Monday in Hobart as he recovers from calf issues, and will be looking to increase his output against Collingwood’s seconds at the Holden Centre on Saturday afternoon.

Ziebell will be joined on the comeback trail by Will Walker, who hasn’t played a game since Round 22, 2018.

In just his fourth AFL game, Walker suffered a PCL injury but complications during the healing and rehabilitation process kept him out of competition for the entire 2019 season.
