kangaroos.com.au says:

In his 17th season Brent Harvey maintained the high standard which puts him on the verge of being the first player to notch up 350 games for North Melbourne.

Spending slightly more time in the forward line than through the middle, Harvey relished the opportunity and turned in his most accurate season yet with 35 goals and 9 behinds. He was only one goal off his career high of 36, set in arguably his best season in 2007.

Harvey remained a part of the leadership group despite handing over the captaincy to Andrew Swallow and provided a helping hand on and off the field.

The former captain will miss the first six matches of 2013 after being found guilty of two separate offences stemming from the Elimination Final loss to West Coast.
