North Melbourne’s youngsters stole the show during Friday morning’s match-simulation session.
In what was the Roos’ first competitive hit-out since returning from the Christmas break, Charlie Comben provided the highlight of the day.

Comben pulled down several strong marks on the day against more experienced opponents.
Fellow new recruit Jack Mahony was equally as impressive in the forward half, snapping a goal from a tight angle.

Midfielder Aiden Bonar showed why he’s regarded so highly, finding plenty of the footy and finishing with precision in close.

Lachlan Hosie also continuing his steady rise, creating several scoring opportunities both in the air and at ground level.
There were encouraging signs from Nick Larkey too; getting on the end of this chain through the midfield.

Dom Tyson was a welcome inclusion after an injury-interrupted 2019 campaign, and was busy on the wing, alongside youngster Bailey Scott.
Aaron Hall another to impress, with his run and carry a highlight, while Jy Simpkin left off where he finished 2019.

Simpkin and Jed Anderson providing a mouth-watering battle of toughness in the contest for much of the session, while Tarryn Thomas' sequence of two smothers in a matter of seconds illustrated his desire to win the footy.
Majak Daw pulled down several strong marks, as did Josh Walker, and Ben McKay; the trio doing its best to push for a Round 1 call-up.
