After an interrupted pre-season, Andrew Swallow is starting to find some form.
His 23-possession game against the Suns, which included seven clearances and 17 contested possessions, was appreciated by the coaches who gave him six votes in the AFLCA award.
While it’s the first time the captain has polled in 2016, Todd Goldstein continues to dominate putting in another perfect 10. Brad Scott and Rodney Eade rated him the most influential player on the ground after he collected 18 disposals, 24 hit-outs and two goals.
Goldstein (30 votes) is currently fourth in the AFL but is North’s highest vote-getter and sits seven ahead of Jack Ziebell (23 votes), who received one vote on Saturday.
Nick Dal Santo was awarded four votes for his 28-possession game while Shaun Atley collected one.
