North defender Lachlan Hansen has been cleared of any wrongdoing following an incident with Lance Franklin on Saturday.

The Hawks’ forward bumped Hansen repeatedly after a third quarter goal, before Hansen appeared to make contact with Franklin’s chin.

The AFL’s Match Review Panel deemed the contact ‘below that required to constitute a reportable offence’ in its findings of the weekend’s matches.

Meanwhile, Hawthorn’s Brent Guerra was cleared of contact on Robbie Tarrant after a collision, also in the third term.

Guerra was deemed to have taken possession of the ball, braced for contact and his actions not unreasonable or unnecessary.
