Brent Harvey has been keeping himself busy while he serves the remaining five weeks of his six game suspension, and next week is no exception.

On Monday he will board the Spirit of Tasmania with his family to travel south for a three-day escape and road-show.  While on the apple isle, he’ll mingle with some of the club’s most dedicated and passionate supporters.

“Brad was good enough to let me get away from Melbourne earlier this week and I went up the Murray River for a couple of days with my fiancée Shayne and my kids,” Harvey told NMFC.com.au.

“Now we get to head down for a bit of a Tassie tour which should be great. Our two games in Hobart last year were fantastic and the support we had from everyone was outstanding.”

The 346-game veteran has a full itinerary with everything from school visits, AusKick clinics and training with an under 16 academy team on the list of ‘things to do’.

“I’m glad I can take this opportunity to visit the good people of Tassie and do as I much as I can to get everyone excited about the big round three match against the Swans.

“My family is also looking forward to the trip. We haven’t been to Hobart together before so it will be a great experience.”
