Many experts labelled Jack Ziebell’s performance on Friday night as ‘one of the best of his career’, and the coaches agreed.
Brad Scott and James Hird handed the midfielder ten votes for his outstanding performance in North’s win over Essendon.
Ziebell finished the match a clear best-on-ground, registering 29 disposals, 11 clearances, five inside 50’s and two goals.
Capping off a memorable night, the vice-captain slotted a goal from inside the centre square to seal the win for his team.

Arguably the other match-winner in an Etihad Stadium thriller, Drew Petrie was dominant defensively in the final term. He finished with five intercept possessions in the last quarter alone.
The number 20 finished with 19 possessions, 12 marks and two goals to gain five votes from the coaches.
Likewise Lachlan Hansen, who was a rock in defence, stopping countless Essendon attacks with vital intercepts. He ended the game with 14 marks to go with 24 disposals.
Ben Cunnington played close to his best match of the season, amassing 26 possessions to go with eight clearances. He was handed the four votes for his efforts.
Ziebell’s perfect ten has seen him him up to second on the North leaderboard with 21 votes, while Todd Goldstein still sits on top with 22.
