A host of North Melbourne players are set to be in action at VFL level over the weekend.
Both the club's affiliates North Ballarat and Werribee will be participating in their final practice matches on Saturday, taking on Collingwood and Casey respectively.
At Victoria Park, Aaron Black and Ben Jacobs are the most senior inclusions in the Roosters' squad, with the latter returning from AFL duties.
Brad McKenzie will look to utilise his lethal left-foot to impact the game, while Trent Dumont is no doubt hoping for a strong performance after a taste of senior football in the NAB Challenge.
Max Warren will lead the charge down back, while the club's first draft pick Sam Durdin can play at either end. Braydon Preuss is set to line up in the ruck.
Ryan Bastinac could also come into the mix as an AFL emergency.
At Werribee, there'll be a heavy reliance on Majak Daw in the absence of Daniel Currie, while Scott McMahon will provide some valuable experience in defence.
Ed Vickers-Willis gets another chance to impress through the midfield, with Robbie Tarrant and Sam Wright also potential inclusions after being named as emergencies for North.
Will Fordham is set to play his first game since joining the club.
NMFC.com.au will provide full reports from both matches on Saturday evening.
