North Melbourne and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation will continue to work together in 2015, building further on an already successful partnership.
To celebrate, one lucky fan will win a money-can’t-buy Kangaroos' experience.
To mark the continued partnership, the foundation is giving all North Melbourne fans the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of Arden Street, followed by lunch with a selection of players and an assistant coach.
To enter, all fans have to do is use the Regret-O-Meter and follow the simple instructions on the site.
In 2013, the Kangaroos were the first AFL club to sign the responsible gambling charter, outlining the club’s commitment to minimising the exposure of gambling activities and advertising to young members and fans.
North Melbourne CEO & Managing Director Carl Dilena said he was delighted the foundation and club could continue to build further on what has already been achieved and help spread the word about the foundation’s newest campaign, BetRegret.
“Working with the foundation has allowed us to promote the responsible gambling message far and wide, and we are thrilled to be able to continue that important work this year,” Mr Dilena said.
“As part of this fantastic partnership, we have been able to develop and implement community education programs as well as providing information to fans who attend a North match, which we will continue to do in 2015, with a real focus on those match day activations.
“We have also been able to get out in to schools and local sporting clubs to work with the foundation and promote the responsible gambling message.”
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation helps people affected by problem gambling, as well as their families and friends. The foundation is also responsible for fostering a greater understanding and awareness of the concept of responsible gambling in the wider community.
