North Melbourne has placed small forward Jed Anderson on the long term injury list.
Anderson injured his hamstring in the second quarter in North’s win over Adelaide on Saturday night.
The 22-year-old is expected to miss around eight weeks.

Anderson joins Ed Vickers-Willis who was added to the long term injury list in early March.
Under AFL regulations, the club can elevate a rookie to replace a player added to the list.
The club has yet to nominate any rookies to replace either Anderson or Vickers-Willis.
