Shaun Higgins says there will be no complacency when North face off with an undermanned Giants side in Sydney on Saturday.
The Giants have lost some key players to injury, with the side from Western Sydney going into the Round 12 clash without Shane Mumford, Phil Davis, Stephen Coniglio and Joel Patfull.
Set to play on Spotless Stadium for the first time in his career, Higgins told NMFC.com.au his side knew the Giants’ would still offer up stiff competition.
“They’re going to get guys coming in for them as replacements,” he said.
“We don’t plan any different.”

With Rory Lobb taking on the number one ruck duties, Higgins expected Roos teammate Todd Goldstein to give his side first use from the stoppages.
“It probably means Goldy will look to utilise his advantage a little more then he would have if it was against Mumford.
“Other than that we just plan like we normally would and do what we need to do.”
With North sitting at five wins and six losses heading into the final match before the bye, the number foue said a win in Saturday afternoon’s clash was critical.
“All games are important but obviously this one is super important,” he said.
“Not only going in to the bye, but where we sit, where we want to get to and really take some momentum into the bye and build into the second half of the season.”
Higgins and a handful of players got a close look at the AFL’ s newest venue on Friday night and the onballer said he was impressed with what he saw during his brief visit, comparing it to a familiar venue in Melbourne.
“This is the first time I’ve walked out here and it seems like a nice oval.
“The boys were saying it’s a pretty similar size to Etihad, a fraction longer and one metre narrower.
