The defender had the job on Jeff Garlett and kept the Demon goalless, while providing plenty of drive the other way with 16 disposals, 4 tackles and a vital goal.
10. Ben Cunnington
The courageous on-baller fought back from what looked like a serious injury in the first term, returning to the field to have a huge impact on the game.
He finished with 26 touches, 17 of which were contested, and 8 clearances in another big outing.
16. Scott Thompson
The key-defender was a strong performer all day, with 16 possessions to go with 8 marks.
Every time the Demons attacked, it seemed Thompson was standing in the way to intercept.
25. Robbie Tarrant
The vice-captain has been a pillar in defence all year, and Sunday's game was no exception.
He finished with 15 disposals, which doesn't quite illustrate his impact on the game, after saving several goals throughout the day.
27. Taylor Garner
The youngster continues to prove his importance to the team, with his pressure around the ball again huge against the Demons.
A big tackle in the third quarter set the tone for his teammates.
28. Kayne Turner
Turner tallied a career-high in disposals with 20, and while he didn't hit the scoreboard, it was impact his around the ball that was vital in the Roos' win.
He finished with 6 tackles, 8 inside 50's and 6 marks in one of the best games of his career.
32. Mason Wood
The hard-running forward worked tirelessly all day, capping his 16 disposals with 3 goals, including a vital one late and a great snap from the pocket.
43. Sam Gibson
When everyone is exhausted, Gibson continues to run and create for his team.
North's number 43 had 11 last quarter disposals and finished with 26 for the game.
50. Ben Brown
The key-forward is in a rich vein of form, booting 5 goals to back up his 6 from three weeks ago.
Brown has now booted 26 majors for the season.
