Trent Dumont gets another chance to prove his worth at AFL level after being selected to play against Carlton on Saturday night. It follows a solid few weeks in the VFL with Werribee.
After stints with the Bulldogs and Saints, Farren Ray will become the 297th player in league history to represent three clubs.
Ray has been selected to make his debut for North against the Blues at Etihad Stadium.
He’ll play his 206th game and admitted to feeling nervous when approached by Brad Scott after training.

As mentioned by Scott on Wednesday, Michael Firrito is back after a week off. The defender was rested for the game against the Bombers and says he’s primed for a return.

It’s not great news for Majak Daw who has been omitted, despite a standout performance which included two goal last week. Mason Wood has also been left out after suffering from concussion while Ben Jacobs is battling a foot complaint.
Ryan Clarke has retained his spot on the emergency list and has been joined by fellow draftee Corey Wagner.
