Ben Brown has been nominated for Goal of the Year after his miraculous effort at Domain Stadium on Sunday.
The 200cm forward picked up the ball deep in the forward pocket. As he came under fierce pressure from Eagle Jeremy McGovern, Brown threw the ball on his boot, the snap shot somehow curling right over the goal umpire’s head.
It was one of Brown’s four goals for the afternoon, taking him to 27 for the season and tied with Jarrad Waite as the club’s leading goalscorer in 2016.
Vote for Brown and you could be in the running to win cash prizes.
