An experienced defender and an emerging forward could be in selection calculations for St Kilda on Saturday night.
200-gamer Sam Fisher and 2014 number-one draft pick Paddy McCartin have both been declared fit to take on North.
Fisher last played in Round 10 before succumbing to a hamstring complaint, while McCartin suffered a head knock in Round 15 and hasn't played since.
“We expect Paddy (McCartin) to be fully fit and available for selection this week, whether that’s through the VFL or the AFL we’ll determine later in the week at selection,” Saints’ GM of Football Performance Jamie Cox told the club’s website.
Despite their availability, it could be tough for the pair to break into an in-form Saints’ lineup.
Alan Richardson’s team has won its last three games, including a 15-point victory against top-four contender the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.
