According to Brad Scott and Paul Roos, there was a clear winner of the ruck duel on Sunday at Blundstone Arena.
Todd Goldstein received a perfect 10 coaches votes; five each from Scott and Roos. Dominant around the ground, the ruckman kicked five goals and could have finished with more.
Gawn polled seven votes for his 63 hit-outs.
Brent Harvey’s six goals earned him six votes, setting a new career high in game 412. It’s the second successive game he’s polled from the coaches.
Meanwhile, Jack Ziebell became the only Roo to poll in all three games this season. His three votes was largely based off his manic attack at the contest, equalling the AFL record with 19 tackles.
Bernie Vince and Jack Viney both polled two votes for the Demons.
