Two Kangaroos’ stars will make their long awaited returns on Saturday night, with Shaun Higgins and Luke McDonald named to take on the Giants.
Higgins last played in Round 7 when he injured his knee and required surgery to repair his meniscus.
He has undergone a long recovery but is now fit to return without any time in the VFL.
McDonald played his first game back last week with Werribee after eight weeks on the sidelines.
The number 21 injured his hamstring during a chase on the Hawks’ Cyril Rioli in Round 13.

The news isn’t so good for Scott Thompson who has been ruled out with an adductor injury, while Brad McKenzie has been omitted.
2015 draftees Ryan Clarke and Corey Wagner will be ready to go if called upon as emergencies, as will key-defender Joel Tippett after some strong form in the VFL.
