SUMMARY:
It was a hard-fought win for Werribee against Essendon last week, but a win nonetheless.
The Tigers were forced to come from behind to register their first victory under the new single alignment with North.
Frankston on the other hand was smashed to the tune of 144 points by Casey, after failing to win a game last year.
The teams only met once last year, with Werribee winning by 77 points.

THE AFL CONTINGENT:
The Tigers’ forward line will be without Mason Wood, promoted to the AFL, but the likes of Majak Daw, Sam Durdin, Aaron Black and Ben McKay still form a potent attacking group.
Robin Nahas, Corey Wagner and Kayne Turner will be nipping at the heels of their key-forwards.
The Roos’ youth will be on show through the midfield, with Ryan Clarke, Declan Mountford and Trent Dumont at the feet of Daw and Braydon Preuss in the ruck.
Werribee boasts a strong defensive contingent, with Lachlan Hansen the key man from a North perspective.

Michael Sodomaco (23 disposals) will be looking to back up his performance through the midfield and in defence, while Matt Hanson and Isaac Conway are key players in the on-ball brigade.

The Dolphins had eight new faces last weekend, with ruckman Michael Sikora and former ex-Carlton defender Andrew McInnes among them.
Last week, their coach Patrick Hill said his team had just two winners in a huge loss; onballer Ben Cavarra and former Box Hill Hawk Ryan Exon.
“There are a few blokes we backed in who didn’t deliver. They know who they are.”
With that message fresh in their minds and having not tasted victory since 2014, the Frankston players will no doubt be desperate to deliver on Sunday.
Michael Sodomaco was one of Werribee's best against Essendon.
