Port Adelaide midfielder Brendon Ah Chee remains interested in a move to Gold Coast if a spot on the club's list becomes available.
The Suns have indicated to Ah Chee's management that they'd be interested in recruiting the 22-year-old, but only if they have space later in the NAB AFL Trade Period.
Ah Chee's manager Anthony Van Der Wielen told AFL.com.au the midfielder was happy to stay with the Power, where he has triggered a contract extension for 2017 after playing 11 games in 2016.
However, a move to Gold Coast, where his brother Callum plays, would likely present further opportunities.
The Suns have six picks in the top 30 of the NAB AFL Draft and will likely end up with more in trade deals for midfielders Dion Prestia and Jaeger O'Meara.
The draft bounty would prevent them from trading for Ah Chee, but their position may change if they are able to shed picks in other deals for experienced players.
