Jarrad Waite’s blistering start to the season was rewarded further on Saturday, receiving a perfect 10 votes from Brad Scott and Justin Leppitsch.
Five goals and 23 disposals meant Waite polled for the second time this season, a feat matched by only one of his teammates in the opening two rounds.
That man is Jack Ziebell, backing up his five votes against Adelaide with another four against the Lions.
Daniel Wells’ 23 disposals and game-high seven clearances were rewarded with seven votes. His comeback continues to gather momentum, as one of North’s best in both wins this year.
The return of Ben Jacobs to the side was immediately felt, earning five votes for holding Daniel Rich to just seven possessions.
