It wasn’t the weekend North Melbourne fans would’ve been hoping for, but there are a lot of AFL Fantasy issues to discuss coming out of Round 12.

It was a sour night on the injury front with the in-form Andrew Swallow suffering a concussion early in the game and his fantasy coaches will need to be watching closely to see if he’ll get up for next week.

Nick Dal Santo and Ben Cunnington also played out the game sore and will have to be monitored closely if you have them in your side.

Here’s how this week’s Footy Prophet’s Fantasy Five performed.

1. Sam Gibson ($419,000, MID)

Gibson has had an up and down year, but he pulled out his third score over 100 for the season with 132 points on the weekend.

The midfielder had a massive 48 points in the first quarter and scored consistently, thanks to 34 disposals and nine marks.

2. Daniel Wells ($416,000, MID/FWD)

Wells is still an integral part of most teams and he delivered for the third straight week with 111 points.

He amassed 31 disposals and had no lean patches at any stage throughout the match, in one of his best fantasy games of the year.

Wells now has a three-game average of 111 and despite many calling for him to be traded out after his injury, his form has been better than ever.

3. Todd Goldstein ($548,000, RUC)

Goldstein still finished with a score of 91 despite being down on his normal influence.

The ruckman was a late omission last week and there were concerns he wouldn’t be back to his best, but 91 points is a sufficient score any day of the week.

The All-Australian ruckman finished with 38 hit-outs, 13 disposals and four marks.

4. Aaron Mullett ($231,000, DEF)

Mullett still finds himself close to rookie price after his fourth game for the season, but his scoring hasn’t quite made him worth spending the extra money on.

The defender scored 45 points including a scoreless first quarter and wouldn’t be working his way into too many teams with that score.

He averaged 74 points from 22 games in 2013, but unless he gets back to something like that, it’s hard to see any value in him just yet.

5. Jarrad Waite ($422,000, FWD)

Waite only managed 51 points on the weekend and was held goalless in his lowest score for the season.

After starting the year in red-hot form, the key forward is probably no longer in fantasy contention until he can turn his form around.

Let’s hope he can bounce back next week against the Hawks on Friday night.
