Marley Williams will now wear royal blue and white stripes after North Melbourne and Collingwood traded for the defender.

North exchanged pick No.105 for the 23-year-old on the final day of the trade period.

“Marley us an exciting footballer and plays with speed and flare,” North GM Football Cameron Joyce said.

“We expect him to give us some great drive out of our back half and really look to take the game on as he’s done throughout his time at Collingwood.”

As well as breaking lines from half-back, Williams has the ability to play on the competition’s best small forwards.

“He’s played 68 games so far, but we anticipate Marley will add to that tally with us for sure. There’s a great opportunity for him here at Arden Street and we’re excited to have him on board with us,” Joyce added.
