North Melbourne coach Brad Scott and his assistants have shared their coaching insights with members from grassroots footy clubs.
Seventeen Victorian football clubs won an exclusive coaching experience with the North Melbourne Football Club thanks to the Fox Footy Club Rewards program.
Clubs from as far north as Rutherglen, to all over regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne, visited North’s training facilities for an experience hosted by Scott and his coaching team.
The experience saw up to two cmembers from each club treated to a coaching seminar and tour of the club’s Arden St Oval facilities, led by Scott and Director of Coaching Darren Crocker.
The Fox Footy Club Rewards program is an initiative driven by Foxtel to support grassroots sport and recognise football clubs and the benefit they deliver to their local community.
Scott Hamilton, from the Macedon Football Club, said the club was delighted to be given access to the inner sanctum of North Melbourne.
“Our club is ecstatic to have been recognised by the Fox Footy Club Rewards program and we loved the whole experience with the Kangaroos. For us, it is testimony to a number of hard-working club members who strive to create a community focused and inclusive club,” Hamilton said.
