The Huddle has joined forces with Wyndham City Council to develop the Active Boys and Active Girls program across Wyndham.

As Wyndham is one of the fastest growing and diverse regions in Australia, the partnership intends to increase volunteer opportunities for young people in the local community, encouraging communities, sporting entities, corporate and government organisations to contribute to long term program sustainability.

The free sporting and recreational programs are designed to engage young people in a social environment after school, in order to gain knowledge and experience, leading to increased self-esteem, social connections and better health outcomes.

The initiative also aims to develop and empower young leaders so they can build on their skills and confidence.

The drop-in sports program intends to deliver the following units across the year;
                - Term 1, 2018 – Two Sessions
                - Term 2, 2018 – Three Sessions
                - Term 3, 2018 – Four Sessions
                - Term 4, 2018 – Five Sessions

The first of these sessions will be starting at Eagle Stadium in Werribee on February 16 from 4-8pm, and more information can be found HERE.
