North Melbourne will be hoping to regain its captain and vice-captain for Saturday’s clash with Melbourne in Hobart.

Jack Ziebell and Robbie Tarrant were left out of the Roos’ side that challenged Essendon last week, and will need to pass respective fitness tests on Thursday before being cleared to return.

Ruckman Braydon Preuss is another looking to make his comeback after missing the last three games with a back injury.

Should he get the thumbs up, he’ll be pushing for a chance at senior level before the end of the season.

Jamie Macmillan will not return this season after undergoing a second procedure on his injured ring finger late last week, while Sam Wright will see a specialist on Friday to determine the best path forward for his ankle/foot.
