Josh Williams has fallen just short of claiming the title as the fastest player in the AFL, finishing third in the Gatorade Grand Final Sprint.
The North Melbourne youngster won his heat with a huge burst from the outside lane.

In the middle lane for the final, he came out of the blocks level with the the field, before the Tigers' Connor Menadue finished strongest.

In Fox Footy's Longest Kick, Ben Brown launched a 55.5 metre bomb, but the top honours went to former Carlton and Brisbane player Brendan Fevola, who managed a 66 metre kick.
