North didn’t get the result on Saturday night, but that didn’t stop the coaches from recognising some of the team’s strongest performers.
Ben Cunnington, Trent Dumont, Jamie Macmillan and Marley Williams all received votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year for their efforts in defeat.
Cunnington was voted North’s best for the second consecutive week, with his 29-disposal, 10 clearance haul earning him three votes.
Dumont has had a great start to the year, registering 20 possessions or more on three occasions.
On Saturday night the midfielder gathered 24 touches and 8 clearances, while getting the ball inside 50 five times.
Dumont received two votes, as did Jamie Macmillan and Marley Williams.

Williams had 24 possessions, his highest tally since 2015, and had an impressive 10 rebound 50s.
