"Unlikely ... but getting more and more by the moment!"
Anthony Hudson's call of Shaun Higgins' second-quarter goal summed it up perfectly - it was quite simply hard to believe.
Nestled deep in the forward pocket with Dockers' opponents in front and behind and not a single teammate forward of the ball, Higgins had to get creative.
Every chance of being smothered had he opted to kick the ball in the air, he used his left foot to dribble the ball towards goal. While plenty of players practice it at training, very rarely does the opportunity come up in a game. For Higgins, this was the moment.
While Fremantle players streamed back towards the goal mouth, the North leader timed his kick to perfection, rolling it through for an amazing goal.
