Less than 4,000 coaches included Thomas in their starting lineups, but they'll be feeling very happy after his 110-point start to the season.
Playing a role off half back, Liam Anthony was another surprise packet with 91-points.
While only 3,703 coaches selected Thomas, a mere 943 opted for Anthony. If he continues to play with the same mindset he could be a great mid-price pick.
Looking further down the list and Daniel Wells was impressive scoring 91 without laying a tackle. This after he averaged almost four tackles a game last year. Once he gets back to last year's average, it's an extra 16 points per game onto his weekly score.
The most popular selection amongst North Melbourne players was Hamish McIntosh. Unfortunately for his 32,738 coaches, he had a quiet match resulting in just 56-points. With coach Brad Scott putting the acid on his rucks, McIntosh should bounce back strongly on Sunday against GWS.
