No deals were locked away on the opening day of the NAB AFL Trade Period, but a series of potential trades are in the works.
Versatile Port Adelaide key-position player Jackson Trengove's long-touted move to the Western Bulldogs is the only one since free agency started last Friday.

Not so fast, Hawks: Port Adelaide
Jarman Impey won't be moving to the Hawks unless the deal suits the Power, the Adelaide Advertiser reports.
Hawthorn recruiting and list manager Graham Wright is confident the trade will go through, but Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps said there was "still work to be done".
"We’ve only had one discussion … it is really early, so we will keep chatting," Cripps said.
Trengove (Western Bulldogs) has already departed, Impey (Hawks) and Brendon Ah Chee (West Coast) are also set to go, Brisbane Lion Tom Rockliff will sign as a free agent this week, and Steven Motlop and Jack Watts are other targets.
But two would-be trades - forward Aaron Young to Gold Coast and second-string ruckman Matthew Lobbe to the Brisbane Lions - have not progressed.
Not a lot of love for Schache
Homesick Lion Josh Schache is open to being traded back to his home state of Victoria, but seems to have limited suitors, the Herald Sun reports.
St Kilda, Essendon, Richmond and Hawthorn will not pursue a trade for the No.2 pick in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft, while Carlton has shown only mild interest.
Schache signed a new two-year deal at the Lions in June, but has struggled with being away from home and the intense speculation about his playing future.
Collingwood is one club that has a need for another key forward – and the right draft pick (they currenly hold No.6) to lure him from up north.
Tippett may stay a Swan
Sydney's salary cap logjam had many suggesting high-priced forward-ruckman Kurt Tippett was on his way out, but the Daily Telegraph believes that may not be the case.
Tippett, who is contracted to the Swans through 2020, played a career-low nine matches in a season he struggled with form and hip and ankle injuries.
Sydney football operations manager Tom Harley did not rule out a Tippett trade on Monday, but said the prospect had not been discussed.
"He's contracted at this stage," Harley told reporters.
"We come in with a pretty open mind, because all of our important players are signed and contracted, so the point we take is that you have to keep all your options open. I’m not pre-empting anything with Kurt."
Watts on his way to Alberton?
The Age is reporting Port Adelaide leads a three-way race for out-of-favour Melbourne forward Jack Watts.
Watts' motivation to speak to rival clubs came after Demons coach Simon Goodwin encouraged him to look elsewhere despite having two years to run on his contract.
The talented forward got a rousing reception from the faithful at Melbourne's best and fairest awards on Monday night.
Geelong and Sydney are believed to be the other contenders for Watts' services, with the No.1 pick in the NAB AFL Draft set to tour the Cats' facilities on Tuesday.
Swans head of football Tom Harley denied that Watts visited the club on Monday.
