A number of prime reserved seats are now on sale for North’s first Hobart home game of 2017.
The Roos will take on GWS at Blundstone Arena on Saturday, April 8, and fans are being encouraged to purchase their tickets with some of the best reserved seats on offer.
The clash looms as a mouth-watering match-up, with the Giants taking on the premiership favourites tag in the early stages of the season.
North coach Brad Scott told The Mercury he was looking forward to returning to Hobart against a strong side.
“GWS is a powerful unit that many experts understandably tipped to go deep into the finals again,” Scott said.
“So with that in mind, a distinct advantage for us in my mind will no doubt be a vocal home crowd at Blundstone Arena.
“We’ve had tight games in Hobart in the past, and the crowd has been a huge factor in getting us the win. The boys thrive on it and it’s an atmosphere like no other.”
Key-forward and home town hero Ben Brown said fans would again be in for a treat.
“We absolutely love the Tassie fans, every time we go down there the atmosphere is electric,” Brown said.
“Blundstone Arena is one of the best in the country to watch the footy. It will be a ripping game of footy.”
