Ben Cunnington has been rewarded for his record-breaking performance on Sunday afternoon, being awarded an equal game-high nine votes in the AFLCA voting.

His 38 disposals, 29 of which were contested, caught the eye of Brad Scott and Damien Hardwick, despite North’s narrow defeat.

The job done by tagger Ben Jacobs didn’t go unnoticed either, given the three votes after keeping reigning Brownlow Medallist Dustin Martin to just 16 disposals.

The votes for Cunnington have catapulted him to the top of North’s leaderboard with 24 votes, while Ben Jacobs remains in fourth position with 13.
