After a tough City v Country match in Friday’s warm conditions, North’s first-year players swapped their footy shorts for black trousers in preparation for the annual induction night.

Accompanied by their families, many of whom watched the intra-club that afternoon, the Roos’ newest faces gave their parents and siblings a tour of the Arden Street facilities.  

Following a presentation about the endless work The Huddle does in the community, the players proceeded to show their loved ones areas such as the gym, the ice baths, and their new lockers, which was a hit amongst the group.

Many travelled from across the country to attend the evening, with the likes of Gordon Narrier and Kyron Hayden’s families making their way from Western Australia.

In addition to the tour of the facilities, the player’s families were introduced to their son’s new host families, who they have lived with since being drafted last November.

The second-year players were also in attendance, taking on the role as waiters for the night and speaking on their experiencesfollowing their draft years.
