Higgins has been in stellar touch, but played arguably his finest game so far against the Lions.
North’s number 4 had a career-high 38 disposals, and was influential around the ground.
7. Jack Ziebell
Ziebell has been critical to the fortunes of the forward line, and this continued on Sunday.
The skipper took some impressive marks and finished the day with 3.2 and 19 disposals
11. Luke McDonald
McDonald had one of the finest games of his career in the 54-point win over the Lions.
The tough defender/midfilder had 34 disposals and kicked 2 goals.
12. Jy Simpkin
Simpkin continues to excel in his midfield role, and put in another strong performance on Sunday.
The second-year star had 21 disposals, and led the Roos for tackles with 6.
15. Paul Ahern
It was the dream debut for Paul Ahern.
North’s number 15 had 29-disposals in Sir Doug Nicholls Round, and showed why he had been so highly rated at pick No.7.
19. Sam Wright
Sam Wright’s return to senior footy goes from strength to strength.
The defender had 18 disposals, and contributed on the scoreboard kicking 2 goals, one of which is a contender for Goal of the Year.
