North Melbourne has announced its squad of 30 for Saturday’s JLT Community Series clash against Melbourne in Tasmania.

Five new faces have been named in the Roos’ initial lineup, with the 30-man list to be trimmed to 26 ahead of the first bounce.

Among those who could play their first games for North in the longer format are Billy Hartung, Paul Ahern, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Gordon Narrier and Alex Morgan.

Jack Ziebell will make a welcome return after a delayed start to pre-season, while fans will be delighted to see Ben Jacobs in action, back from a foot injury.

Todd Goldstein is set to lead North’s ruck division, while twin-towers Jarrad Waite and Ben Brown will no doubt play key roles in the forward half.
