In just her third season of footy, Brancatisano captained the Northern Knights to the TAC Cup Grand Final.
The fleet-footed 18-year-old also represented Vic Metro for a second consecutive year in the NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships.
Eleanor Brown (Sandringham Dragons) 20/1/2000
An ever-present aerial threat, Brown was among Sandringham’s best in 2018, earning a call-up to the VFLW with the Southern Saints.
The versatile tall has a physical presence and is renowned for her ability to win one-on-one contests.
Lauren Butler (GWV Rebels) 20/11/2000
The intercept marking machine was rewarded for a stellar campaign with the Greater Western Victoria Rebels, becoming one of just 36 players to earn an invite to the 2018 AFLW Draft Combine.
Butler reinforced her athletic reputation with top-five finishes in the 2km time trial and YoYo test.
Chloe Haines (Burnie) 29/2/2000
Forming one of half of Tasmania’s most promising football pairing, Chloe Haines is an aerial threat with strong marking ability. Praised for her mobility across the ground, she played multiple roles for Burnie. Haines represented Tasmania in the 2018 NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships and was a member of the AFLW Academy.
Libby Haines (Burnie) 29/2/2000
Much like her twin sister, Libby Haines has good hands and is renowned for her strong overhead marking.
An extensive basketball background has given the dual athlete an outlet to develop her natural talents. Haines finished in the top five in two categories at the AFLW Draft Combine, listed among the best in the 20-metre sprint and 2km time trial.
Tyla Hanks (Gippsland Power) 15/2/2000
A polished midfielder with excellent ball distribution skills, Hanks got plenty of the footy in 2018.
The 18-year-old was a ball magnet at state level for Gippsland and was rewarded for her consistency in a stellar campaign, earning selection in the All-Australian team as vice-captain.
Courtney Jones (Dandenong Stingrays) 10/9/2000
As versatility continues to be a common theme against potential draftees, flexible defender and capable forward Jones fits the bill.

Prespakis won her fair share of accolades in 2018.
Likely to be taken with either the first or second pick, Prespakis highlighted her worth by taking home the overall AFLW Under 18 Championships MVP award in July, followed by the Vic Country and Vic Metro’s MVP award.

Purcell’s elite endurance and running capacity compliment an existing skillset that sees her listed among the premier winners of contested footy.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Purcell showcased her speed by finishing second in the agility test at the Combine, falling just fractions of a second behind Tyla Hanks.

Another product of the Geelong Falcons, Taylor is a physically mature prospect with capabilities of playing at both ends of the ground.
Taylor made herself known in the TAC Cup Grand Final, where she was named the best on ground for the Falcons.

Blessed with pace to burn, Van De Heuvel is hard to catch once she picks up speed.
The state-level cricketer put her athleticism on display at the Combine, finishing first in the running vertical jump along with second and third in the 20-metre sprint and standing vertical jump respectively.

Best known for her ability to stifle attacking threats, Webster has earned a reputation as one of the leading intercept marks in the draft pool.

Arguably the fastest player in the draft pool, Woods has speed to burn.
Woods is the all-time record holder at the AFLW Draft Combine for the 20-metre sprint, recording an imposing 3.129 finish. In addition to her sprinting, Woods holds top-five finishes in the agility, 2km time trial and YoYo tests.
