As the mercury edged towards 30 degrees on Monday, North Melbourne slogged it out with the players’ endurance put to the test.
Starting with a series of shuttle runs, the boys quickly worked up a sweat.
The footballs were then introduced, however the players’ running ability was still pushed to the limit as they made their way from goalsquare to goalsquare in a series of transition-related drills.
Jared Polec picked-up from where he left off during Friday’s match simulation, while Tarryn Thomas exhibited his flare and highly-rated disposal, breaking the game open on multiple occasions.
Despite the taxing nature of the session, the intensity and competitiveness didn’t wane.
Training finished how it started; shuttle runs and endurance-based drills with Luke McDonald standing out.
