The club’s AFLW stars will be taking a spin for a great cause on Friday, as part of the ‘Neil’s Wheel’ campaign.
Emma King, Jasmine Grierson and Jess Trend will sit alongside North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ assistant coach Dennis Armfield in the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, raising money for the Good Friday Appeal.
So how does it work? Well, during Neil Mitchell’s 3AW program on Friday morning, Armfield and the players will need to raise $10,000 in donations for the Good Friday Appeal. They won’t be let off the wheel until they’ve reached their goal.
Last year, North Melbourne CEO Carl Dilena raised almost $20,000 in donations for the Appeal.
Neil’s Wheel is raising money for Anesthetic Machines and Patient Monitors for the hospital, valued at around $236,000.
It all takes place between 8.30am and 11.30am this Friday, March 8. Tune in to 3AW and the club’s social media channels for updates.
