Taylor Garner will play his first AFL game since Round 22, 2017 on Sunday.

The dynamic forward is among four inclusions to the North team, presented by The Wharf Hotel, for the clash against Carlton.

After a career-best year two seasons ago, in which he played 18 matches and averaged 16 disposals and a goal a game, Garner was struck down with hamstring injuries in 2018.

North's number six will be a valuable addition in attack, with his forward pressure a bonus.

Marley Williams returns for his first game since Round 2, having overcome an ankle injury, while Shaun Higgins (illness) and Jy Simpkin (VFL) are also back in.
