Fremantle midfielder Bradley Hill has declared himself fit for Sunday’s Round 1 clash against North Melbourne.
Hill sustained a ‘bad cork’ during the JLT Series, but will line up in the season-opener at Optus Stadium.
“It’s come up well, I should be ready to go this week, I’ve never had a bad cork, obviously this one was a bigger one,” he told the club's website.
“I’ll be ready to go, I’ll be training all week. I’m excited, I can’t wait to play against North Melbourne this weekend.”
Nat Fyfe (elbow) is set to play, while Brennan Cox (hamstring) and Matt Taberner (hamstring/calf) will miss. Harley Bennell and Aaron Sandilands are also sidelined with calf injuries.
Brandon Matera copped a one-week ban for striking in the final JLT match.
