When Kieran Harper received a handball in the clear during the second quarter of Sunday's game, there was a sense of anticipation around the home of football.

Already a feature in many highlight reels during his short career, the scene was set for another Harper showstopper. With five metres on his opponent Reece Conca, Harper strode to half-forward with two bounces, before slotting a wonderful goal from outside the 50 metre arc.

It was enough to bring the North supporters to their feet, and earn him his second Origin Goal of the Year nomination this season.
