Lachie Hosie has capped off an incredible week by kicking three goals in an upset win over Richmond in the VFL.
The forward impressed in his first game at Arden Street, justifying the club's choice to select him with pick 5 in the mid-season draft.
“It’s a dream start to hopefully a nice career at North Melbourne,” Hosie told North Media.
“I’m pumped that we got the win. I’m so glad that we won.”
He's only been around the group for a matter of days, but Hosie said he's been welcomed with open arms.
“The culture and moral around everyone [is great], they're such a tight-knit bunch of boys," he added.
“Obviously getting to know everyone was a bit daunting, but they’ve been so good to me.
“I haven't felt left out at all.”
