No.2 draft pick Finn O'Sullivan has been handed the No.2 guernsey as North Melbourne confirmed its AFL guernsey numbers for season 2025.

The jumper was previously worn by Jaidyn Stephenson who retired last month, while Kevin Dynon, Noel Teasdale, Doug Wade and Wayne Schwass are notable former custodians.

Former Western Bulldogs star Caleb Daniel has taken the No.5 worn by the likes of Syd Dyer, John Rantall, Daryl Sutton and Jason McCartney, while WA draftee Luke Urquhart has snapped up the No.14 worn by the retired Liam Shiels. Namesake Gavin Urquhart also wore No.14 for 41 games (no relation).

Star trade recruit Luke Parker will keep the No.26 he wore for 293 games at Sydney (formerly worn by Sel Murray, Peter Bell and Sav Rocca), while former West Coast champion Jack Darling will wear No.28 (Dally O'Brien, Garry Farrant and Byron Pickett).

First-round draftee Matt Whitlock has No.35 (Jack Edwards, Billy Nettlefold and John Longmire), while father-son recruit River Stevens will be his locker buddy in No.36 (Steven Icke, Shannon Watt).

Former Swans small forward Jacob Konstanty will take No.41, which was worn in the early 90s by Adrian McAdam, who famously kicked 23 goals in his first three senior AFL games, which is still a League record.

Following the completion of the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft, the Roos have now filled up all available list spots.

Of last year's numbers, No.1 remains vacant following the retirement of Hugh Greenwood, while Hamish Free's No.45 is also vacant should another list spot open up due to injury.
