North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos captain Emma Kearney has been named to play in the club's preliminary final against Port Adelaide at Ikon Park on Saturday.
It'll be the first appearance for the No.9 since suffering a high-grade hamstring strain during the side's Week 5 win over Richmond in Launceston.
Kearney needed to pass a fitness test during Wednesday morning's main training session, and the defender successfully did so, earning the green light to enter the selection frame.
Defender Eliza Shannon is the unlucky player to make way this week.
The Roos and Power have met once already this season, with North Melbourne recording a six-goal win in a Week 4 clash at Mission Whitten Oval that ended in torrential rain.
The winner of Saturday's match will book a spot in the 2024 AFLW Grand Final against either Brisbane or Adelaide, while the loser will be eliminated.
